What we design and build
Seven trades held under two Arizona contractor licences, so a pool, a ramada and the stone between them are one project with one schedule and one point of contact — not three contractors pointing at each other.
01 · Pool design & construction
A pool you'll use in April and in January.
Anyone can dig a rectangle. The decisions that matter are where the sun hits the tanning ledge at 4pm, whether the spa is close enough to the door to use in winter, and whether the equipment is sized so it isn't running through the hottest part of the day. We work those out on the model, not on site.
- Custom shells, spas and spillovers
- Baja shelves, swim-up seating and sun ledges
- Water and fire features, sheer descents, bowls
- Remodels: resurfacing, re-tiling, new coping and decking
02 · Landscape design & construction
Planting that survives a Phoenix July.
We lean on native and drought-tolerant species — not as a sustainability slogan, but because they need less water, less replacing and less of your Saturday. Irrigation, drainage and low-voltage lighting are drawn in from the beginning rather than retrofitted once the pavers are down.
- Architectural planting plans and plant schedules
- Drip irrigation, valves and controllers
- Grading and drainage so monsoon water leaves the yard
- Landscape and path lighting design
03 · Hardscape, turf & sod
The layer nobody photographs.
Base preparation, compaction and drainage decide whether pavers are still level in a decade — and whether turf ripples or stays flat. It is the least glamorous line on the estimate and the one most worth paying properly for. Above it: travertine, stacked stone veneer, seat walls, steps, turf and sod.
- Paver patios, driveways and walkways
- Travertine decking and tile
- Seat walls, retaining walls and planters
- Stacked stone veneer, boulders and flagstone
- Putting greens with fringe and cup placement
- Pet-friendly turf with drainage and deodorising infill
- Natural sod and turf-and-paver ribbon layouts
04 · Outdoor lighting
The yard is only half built until dark.
Most backyards get used after sundown for half the year. Lighting is designed with the plan and sleeved during construction, so nothing has to be trenched back through finished pavers later. Low-voltage throughout, on transformers sized with headroom for what you add next.
- Path, step and wall lighting
- Tree uplighting and canopy downlighting
- Pool, spa and water-feature lighting
- Ramada, pergola and kitchen task lighting
- Timers, photocells and smart app control
05 · Outdoor kitchens
Where everyone ends up standing.
Built-in barbecues, bar seating, fireplaces and fire tables — with gas, power and drainage run before the veneer goes on. The counter is the easy part; what's behind it is what decides whether it still works in five years.
- Built-in grills, prep counters and refrigeration
- Bar tops and swim-up seating
- Fireplaces, fire pits, fire tables and bowls
- Outdoor media centres and weatherproof TV enclosures
06 · Water & fire features
The two things everyone stands near.
Moving water cools a courtyard and covers road noise; fire keeps the yard usable in January. Both need plumbing, gas and power run before the hardscape closes up, which is exactly why they belong in the same contract as everything around them.
- Sheer descents, scuppers and spillover bowls
- Fountains, rills and basins
- Gas fire pits, bowls and fire tables
- Built-in fireplaces with seating
- Automation and remote ignition
07 · Pergolas & ramadas
Shade is what makes a patio usable.
A beautiful patio in full afternoon sun is a beautiful patio nobody sits on. We size and orient shade structures against the real sun angles on your lot across the year, then build them to carry fans, lighting and heaters properly.
- Louvered pergolas with adjustable blades
- Timber ramadas and gazebos
- Attached patio covers tied into the house line
- Integrated fans, lighting and outdoor media
